Consultation
The Research and Archiving Centres of Cinémathèque suisse in Penthaz and Zurich are accessible for consultation and viewing, by appointment only.
For exceptional reasons, the collections will be inaccessible until Monday 8 January, except for partners of the Cinémathèque suisse.
Thank you for your understanding.
Visits
In order to allow a wider public to discover the Cinémathèque suisse collection, one of the largest in the world dedicated to cinema, guided tours for groups can be organised, under certain conditions. The institution occasionally offers open days, with dates communicated in due course.
Visit the Penthaz Centre
As part of the cultural outreach programme, guided tours of approximately 2 hours (from 10 people) are offered to private or institutional groups as well as to school groups. For organisational reasons, tours must be booked at least 3 months in advance.
Visit the Zurich Centre
Guided tours of the Zurich Research and Archiving Centre are also available on request, enabling groups to learn more about the mainly German-language collections held by the Cinémathèque suisse in Zurich.
